SALOME BEYENE

Salome Beyene is a recent graduate of Miami University (OH) with a strong background in advanced health development efforts as a means to sustain both international and domestic communities.

 

Currently, Salome is a Research Coordinator at The Ohio State University where she works on a team to oversee a community-based study aimed at improving hypertension and cognitive memory of African American older adults. Salome’s passion to uplift communities and transform the world through sustainable measures has allowed her to engage in related work across the world including the United States, Ethiopia, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Panama. By pairing her in-field experience with her history of clinical and community-based research, Salome is most excited to be a part of the ACCESS team to increase cross sector partnering to benefit communities worldwide.
